Did you know that close to 80% of cardiac arrest incidents occur in the home and are witnessed by family members? Snohomish County Fire District 7 offers a Certified CPR Only class and a First Aid and CPR class. Both classes are available to adults and children age 12 or older. Fire District 7 utilizes the American Heart Association's Heartsaver® First Aid with CPR and AED Training curriculum. The classes teach students how to recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies until medical help arrives. Students who successfully complete the class receive a 2-year certification card.

This course is appropriate for those 12 and older desiring an American Heart Association First Aid & CPR certification. This class is not adequate for Healthcare Provider CPR certification.

We offer two training options for Certified First Aid & CPR certification:

  1. Sign up to take Heartsaver® First Aid and CPR with AED course by clicking on "Register Here" button.
  2. Take course online at www.onlineAHA.org titled "Heartsaver® First Aid, CPR, AED." After completing the online course, contact Fire District 7 to perform your skills session.
    • The cost for the online course is currently $44.00 and the cost for the skills session is $50.00.
    • The online course certification must be brought with you on the day of your scheduled practical skills evaluation.
